This gorgeous medium-sized bar globe features a solid frame consisting of 3 legs made of beech wood. The wheels with which it is equipped make it possible to move the Calypso globe to different rooms in the house or to different corners of the office. The map, which faithfully reproduces a 16th-century cartography, offers different colors: the classic version, with its warm autumnal tones, provides a vintage and classic touch to your home, but without excluding rooms with a more modern air. The top of the globe opens to reveal a bar compartment that can comfortably hold 4.5 bottles and about 12 glasses. Additional bottles and useful items can be placed on the wide lower base, which depicts a hand-decorated compass rose in natural water colors. The sphere rotates completely around its meridian in both the open and closed position. Plan voyages, set sail for uncharted islands, traverse unknown routes--all with your favorite drink in hand and comfortably seated in your armchair.
